Click the Generate Email button next to your SmartAsset source.
This creates a unique email address where SmartAsset notifications should be forwarded.
Set Up Email Forwarding:
In your email account (e.g., Gmail or Outlook), create a rule to automatically forward SmartAsset lead notification emails to the generated LeadCenter email address.
LeadCenter can only read emails that include lead details (name, phone, email, zip code, etc.) in the body of the message.
If the email only contains a button to view the lead on SmartAsset, it will not work.
Contact SmartAsset support to request the older notification format that includes full lead details in the email body.
Important Notes
Only emails containing lead details in the message body can be processed.
New leads will be created automatically in LeadCenter and tagged under your “SmartAsset” campaign.
