After a meeting summary is generated — either automatically or manually — you can access it from
multiple places in LeadCenter. Meeting summaries are saved directly on the related contact and are
also delivered by email, so you can review them in whatever way is most convenient.
What Is a Meeting Summary?
A meeting summary is an AI-generated overview of a recorded and transcribed meeting.
It highlights the most important parts of the conversation so you don’t need to rewatch
the recording or read the full transcription.
A typical meeting summary includes:
Main topics discussed
Key decisions or agreements
Action items and responsibilities
Next steps and follow-up plans
How Meeting Summaries Are Generated
Meeting summaries can be generated automatically for every meeting or manually for individual meetings.
Automatic Summaries (Recommended)
When enabled, summaries are created automatically after each meeting is recorded and transcribed.
Go to Calendars.
Click the Settings (gear icon) for the calendar.
Scroll to the Claudia AI (Meeting Assistant) section.
Enable Meeting summary.
Select a summary template.
Click Save.
Once enabled, summaries will be generated automatically for all future recorded and transcribed meetings on that calendar.
Manual (On-Demand) Summaries
You can also generate a meeting summary for a specific meeting from the appointment’s action menu
after the meeting has been recorded and transcribed.
Where to Find Your Meeting Summaries
1. Contact Notes
Every meeting summary is saved as a note on the related contact’s record.
Open the associated Contact.
Go to the Notes tab.
Look for a note labeled with the meeting reference (for example: for <<meeting>> #123).
Click the note to expand and read the full summary.
The meeting label makes it easy to distinguish AI-generated meeting summaries from manually created notes.
2. Email Notification
When a meeting summary is generated, an email notification is sent automatically.
The email is sent to the calendar owner (meeting host).
The summary content is included directly in the email.
No login is required to review the summary from the email.
3. Appointment Actions
You can also open the meeting summary directly from the appointment.
Open the associated Contact.
Go to the Appointments tab.
Locate the meeting in the list.
Click the Actions menu (three dots).
Select View meeting summary.
What’s Included in a Summary
The exact content depends on the summary template you use, but most summaries include:
Meeting overview — purpose and context
Key discussion points
Decisions made
Action items for the advisor and/or client
Next steps and follow-up timing
Editing a Meeting Summary
Because meeting summaries are saved as notes, you can edit them just like any other note.
Open the Contact.
Go to the Notes tab.
Open the meeting summary note.
Edit the content as needed and save.
Troubleshooting
Can’t find the summary — Make sure you’re viewing the correct contact.
Summaries are linked to the contact associated with the meeting.
Summary wasn’t generated — Confirm that Meeting summary is enabled
and a template is selected in the calendar settings.
No email received — Check spam/junk folders and verify notification settings.
Meeting not transcribed — A transcription is required before a summary can be generated.
Ensure Meeting transcription is enabled.
