AI Text Messaging License

The AI Text Messaging License is an optional add-on to the AI CRM Core License. It gives you two-way texting, mass text campaigns, text reminders for appointments and events, text-based lead capture, and text automation directly inside LeadCenter.

Plans are available for both standard and high-volume texting needs, and all plans support monthly and annual billing. Each plan includes 1 free local phone number for texting.

Best Practices

Choose the right plan based on features, not just text volume

  • If you only need basic two-way texting and reminders, the Starter plan may be enough.
  • If you need workflows, scheduled text campaigns, keywords, or autoresponders, choose Corporate or higher.
  • Since overage pricing is the same across plans, plan choice should mostly be based on included features and included text volume.

Monitor your text usage

  • Each plan includes a set number of texts per month.
  • Texts beyond your included limit are billed at $0.055 per text.
  • Both inbound and outbound texts count toward usage.
  • MMS messages also count toward text usage.

Use text-in keywords for lead capture

  • Text-in keywords are available on Corporate, Enterprise, and High Volume plans.
  • They can help you capture leads from mailers, ads, seminars, and other marketing channels.
  • Keywords work even better when combined with autoresponders.

Complete A2P 10DLC registration

  • Business texting in the U.S. requires approved A2P 10DLC registration for carrier-compliant sending.
  • LeadCenter supports 10DLC verified sending on all plans, but your registration must be approved before outbound campaign texting works reliably.

Use texting with reminders and follow-up workflows

  • Text reminders are one of the most effective ways to reduce no-shows.
  • You can also use texting for follow-up campaigns, anniversary messages, and workflow automation on eligible plans.

FAQs

Is the Text Messaging License required?

No. It is an optional add-on. You need it if you want to send and receive text messages from LeadCenter, run text campaigns, use text workflows, or send appointment and event text reminders.

Does each plan include a phone number?

Yes. Every plan includes 1 free local phone number for texting.

What is the difference between Standard and High Volume plans?

High Volume plans include much larger monthly text allowances, from 20,000 to 250,000 texts. Feature-wise, they include the same advanced capabilities as the higher-tier standard plans.

Can I use text workflows on the Starter plan?

No. Text workflows, scheduled text campaigns, text-in keywords, autoresponders, and landline/VOIP texting are available only on Corporate and higher plans.

Do appointment and event text reminders count toward usage?

Yes. Appointment reminders, event reminders, and all other outbound texts count toward your monthly usage. Inbound replies also count.

Do I also need the Phone License for texting?

Not necessarily. This license already includes 1 free local phone number for texting. You only need the separate Phone License if you also want calling features or additional phone numbers.

Do I need A2P 10DLC registration?

Yes, for U.S. business texting, carrier-compliant outbound texting requires approved A2P 10DLC registration.
