Capturing Leads from Calendar (Public Booking) Pages

LeadCenter public booking pages let prospects book appointments with your team based on calendar availability. When someone books through a public calendar link, LeadCenter can create or update the contact and connect the appointment to the contact record.

Where to Manage Calendars

Open the Calendars page in LeadCenter.

Calendar setup may include basic details, business hours, public calendar links, invitee questions, confirmation emails, reminders, follow-up emails, and calendar connection settings.

How Public Booking Capture Works

  1. You create or configure a calendar in LeadCenter.
  2. You configure availability, invitee questions, confirmation settings, and reminders.
  3. LeadCenter gives you a public calendar link.
  4. You share that link on your website, landing pages, emails, ads, or follow-up messages.
  5. When someone books, LeadCenter creates or updates the contact and records the appointment.

Configure the Calendar

Calendar settings can vary by account, but review these areas before publishing a booking link:

  • Basic Details — calendar name, meeting type, and basic appointment information.
  • Business Hours — the days and times people can book.
  • Public Calendar Links — links you can share with prospects so they can book a time.
  • Invitee Questions — questions shown to prospects during booking.
  • Confirmation Email — the confirmation sent after booking.
  • Appointment Reminders — reminders before the appointment.
  • Follow-up Emails — follow-up communication after booking or after the meeting.
  • Calendar Connection — the connected calendar used for availability and scheduling.

Share the Public Booking Link

Use the public booking link anywhere prospects are likely to schedule:

  • Website buttons
  • Landing pages
  • Email campaigns
  • Text messages
  • Sales follow-up sequences
  • Seminar follow-up pages
  • Paid ads

For paid campaigns or channel reporting, use UTM parameters in the booking page URL when possible.

Attribution Notes

Public booking pages can be part of your attribution flow, but attribution depends on how the booking link is shared and what tracking information is available when the prospect books.

If you are using UTM links, use a real test booking to confirm the Source or Campaign attribution before launching a campaign.

Test the Booking Flow

  1. Open the public booking link in an incognito window.
  2. Book a test appointment using a unique email address.
  3. Confirm the appointment appears in LeadCenter.
  4. Confirm the contact was created or updated.
  5. Review the contact and appointment details.
  6. If you used UTM parameters, confirm attribution with a real test booking.

Best Practices

  • Keep invitee questions short. Ask only for information needed before the appointment.
  • Use clear calendar names. Make it easy for prospects to understand what they are booking.
  • Set realistic availability. Confirm business hours and connected calendar settings before sharing the link.
  • Test every booking link. Use incognito and a unique email before using the link in a campaign.
  • Use UTMs in campaign links. This helps confirm where bookings came from.

FAQs

Where do I find the public booking link?

Open the calendar in Manage Calendars and review the Public Calendar Links area.

Can I ask custom questions on the booking page?

Yes. Use the Invitee Questions settings for the public calendar link.

Does a booking create a contact?

A public booking can create or update the contact and connect the appointment to that contact record. Test your booking flow to confirm the behavior in your account.

Can I assign a Source directly on the calendar?

Do not assume direct Source assignment unless your account shows that setting. For campaign attribution, use tracked links and test the booking flow before launch.

Can I trigger workflows from appointments?

Yes. Use appointment-related workflow triggers available in your account, such as Appointment created, where appropriate.
