Filter Texts by Phone Number

If your firm uses more than one texting number, you can filter the Texts inbox to show only the messages for one number. Each number in the filter shows who it's assigned to, so similar numbers are easy to tell apart.

Filter by a Phone Number

Open Texts. You can also use the Texts tab on a contact or household.
Click the phone icon at the top right of the inbox. Hovering it shows Phone number.
Choose a number. Each one shows the assigned user first, then the number, for example Jane Smith +12815550100. If the number is tied to a lead source, the source appears in parentheses after it, for example (Google Search). That's the source's name, not the status of a text.

The inbox now shows only texts for that number, and a From chip above the list shows the number and its assigned user. A number with no assigned user shows only the number.

Clear the Filter

Click the X on the From chip, or open the phone icon and choose All phone numbers.
