Financial questionnaire (FQ) is a great way to gather prospect financial information to prepare retirement and investment plans. The questionnaire was designed in coordination with top financial advisors in the country.
Send Encrypted FQ Link: Generate a secure link for each contact. The FQ link includes multiple layers of security, such as a unique URL, two-factor authentication, and SSL encryption to protect client data.
Draft and Resume Option: Prospects can save their progress and return to complete the questionnaire later, allowing them to fill in details at their own pace.
Access Partially Completed Questionnaires: Advisors have real-time access to questionnaires as they’re being completed, allowing for quick review and assistance if needed before submission.
Review, Amend, and Approve: Once submitted, questionnaire responses can be reviewed, edited, and verified. Verified responses automatically populate relevant fields in both LeadCenter and Redtail CRM, saving time and ensuring accuracy.
Custom Domain for Client Portal: For added branding, the Financial Questionnaire can be hosted on a custom domain (e.g., fq.yourcompany.com), creating a seamless experience for clients accessing the secure client portal.
The FQ has 11 sections that covers full contact and family information, legal items, cash flow, life events, assets, concerns, objectives, risks and goals.
The workflow is as follows:
SEND TO CLIENT -> CLIENT SUBMITS -> VERIFY BY ADVISOR
Send an email to contact using an email template with the FQ link (fq_url).
The contact clicks on the link to open the secure client portal.
The first page in the secure portal is a two factor authentication page where the contact has to click on Send Verification Code button.
A secure code will be sent to contact's email.
Contact will enter the code. If correct, that will open the financial questionnaire.
The contact will fill the questionnaire and click submit at the end.
The contact owner will receive a notification by email that an FQ was submitted.
You can open the submitted FQ from the contact page or the financial questionnaires page. You can review and edit any wrong answers.
Once you are satisfied with the questionnaire answers, verify them.
Verifying the questionnaire will fill all the relevant contact fields in leadcenter, saving you from data entry. Also it will push the data to other systems like Redtail CRM, Zapier, etc.
You can then print it.
Adding Financial Questionnaire to your website using LeadCenter Secure Client Portal
With LeadCenter you can setup a Secure Client Portal at your own Website (ex: secureportal.yourcompany.com). From there, clients can securely access:
The financial questionnaire.
Secure document storage to upload their documents.
Follow these steps to enable your secure client portal on your website:
Add the following records to your domain DNS.
TYPE: CNAME NAME: fq CONTENT: fq.leadcenter.ai TTL: Auto
Send an email to support@leadcenter.ai with the domain details and domain host name to request installing SSL certificate for your domain host Secure Client Portal.
LeadCenter support will install the certificate within three business days.
As part of client portal security, each client will have a unique Client Portal URL. The URL will look like this for the document storage section:
fq.yourwebsite.com/UNIQE-NUMBER/dms/documents
This unique number is different for each contact.
Tip: In email and text message templates, there are shortcodes for Client Portal. The following are shortcodes for document storage and financial questionnaire links:
Financial questionnaire shortcode: (fq_url)
Secure document portal shortcode: (dms_url)
Note: We recommend using the domain host fq. But, you can use any domain host name you like.
