Integrating LeadCenter with Catchlight

LeadCenter integrates with Catchlight so you can enrich prospects and clients with financial insights directly inside their contact record. This helps you capture useful details faster, reduce manual research, and use Catchlight data across LeadCenter filters and automations.

Note: This integration requires a Catchlight API subscription to retrieve data from Catchlight.

Overview

Once connected, Catchlight can enrich a contact with insights such as:

  • Estimated Investable Assets
  • Estimated Income Range
  • Life Events
  • Hobbies
  • Financial Interests
  • Social Capital
  • Catchlight Score
  • And more

This information helps you better understand prospects and clients so you can personalize outreach, follow-up, filtering, segmentation, and workflow routing.

Requirements

  • A Catchlight API subscription
  • Your Catchlight credentials:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
    • User ID

How to Connect Catchlight

  1. Go to the Integrations page.
  2. Click Lead Enrichment from the left menu.
  3. Find Catchlight and click Connect.
  4. Enter your:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
    • User ID
  5. Click Connect to complete the setup.

Tip: You can get these credentials from your Catchlight account.

How to Use Catchlight

  1. Open a contact’s detail page in LeadCenter.
  2. Click Catchlight in the contact record menu.
  3. Click Request Catchlight Data.
  4. Once the enrichment is ready, the data appears on the contact record.

Tip: The research process may take a few minutes. LeadCenter checks automatically for completed results. If you want to check immediately instead of waiting, click Check Again Now.

Tip: Make sure the contact has a valid email address, phone number, or address. If these details are missing or incorrect, Catchlight may not return enrichment data.

Using Catchlight Data in Filters and Automations

If Catchlight is enabled for your account, Catchlight fields can also be used across LeadCenter filters and automation tools. This makes it easier to target contacts based on enrichment status, match confidence, financial profile, and Catchlight scoring.

Where Catchlight Fields Are Available

Catchlight fields are available in:

  • Pipeline advanced filters
  • Contacts advanced filters
  • Audience Segments
  • Workflow Filter Nodes
  • Zapier trigger outputs

Available Catchlight Fields

  • Enrichment Status
  • Match Confidence
  • Investable Assets (Min / Max)
  • Income Range (Min / Max)
  • Social Capital Score
  • Catchlight Score

Dropdown-based fields such as Enrichment Status and Match Confidence can be used for exact-value filtering. Numeric fields such as Investable Assets, Income Range, Social Capital Score, and Catchlight Score can be used with numeric filter conditions.

How to Use Catchlight Fields in Filters

  1. Open the Pipeline or Contacts page.
  2. Open Advanced Filters.
  3. Select a Catchlight field from the field dropdown.
  4. Choose the condition you want to use.
  5. Enter or select the value.
  6. Click Apply.

Using Catchlight Data in Audience Segments

When creating or editing an Audience Segment, you can add Catchlight fields as filter conditions to build more targeted groups.

Using Catchlight Data in Workflows

Catchlight fields are also available in Workflow Filter Nodes. This allows you to route contacts through different automation paths based on Catchlight enrichment data.

Using Catchlight Data in Zapier

The same Catchlight values are also included in Zapier trigger outputs, so you can pass enriched Catchlight data into connected systems and workflows outside LeadCenter.

Common Use Cases

  • Target high-value prospects by filtering for higher asset ranges, stronger match confidence, or higher Catchlight scores.
  • Build smarter audience segments based on enrichment readiness and financial profile.
  • Improve workflow routing by sending contacts down different automation paths based on Catchlight criteria.
  • Extend enriched data externally by sending Catchlight values through Zapier.

Auto-Fill Estimated Investable Assets

When Catchlight returns investable assets data, LeadCenter can automatically populate the Estimated Investable Assets field on the contact record.

This happens automatically as part of the Catchlight enrichment process.

  • If Catchlight returns a range — LeadCenter stores the average of the minimum and maximum values.
  • If Catchlight returns one value — LeadCenter uses that value directly.
  • If no investable assets data is returned — the field remains unchanged.

When auto-fill runs

  • Manual fetch — when you request Catchlight data on a contact record
  • Background processing — when enrichment completes after processing time
  • Workflow action — when a workflow runs a Catchlight fetch action

Important: Existing values are never overwritten. If the contact already has an Estimated Investable Assets value, LeadCenter will keep the current value.

Where to see it

  • Important Info on the contact detail page
  • Financial Information on the contact detail page
  • Peak popover in table and pipeline views

Troubleshooting

  • No Catchlight data returned: Confirm the contact has a valid email address, phone number, or address.
  • Estimated Investable Assets did not auto-fill: Catchlight may not have returned investable assets data, or the field may already have a value.
  • The value looks incorrect: Compare it with the Catchlight data shown on the contact record, then update it manually if needed.
  • Catchlight fields do not appear in filters: Make sure the Catchlight integration is enabled for your account.
  • A contact does not match a Catchlight filter: The contact may not have Catchlight enrichment data yet, or the selected condition may not match the available values.

FAQs

Do I need to enable the auto-fill separately?

No. Auto-fill works automatically when your Catchlight integration is connected and enrichment returns investable assets data.

Will Catchlight overwrite a value I entered manually?

No. LeadCenter only auto-fills the Estimated Investable Assets field when it is empty.

Can I edit the value after it is auto-filled?

Yes. You can still update the Estimated Investable Assets field manually on the contact record.

Can I use Catchlight fields in filters and workflows?

Yes. Catchlight fields are available in Pipeline, Contacts, Audience Segments, and Workflow Filter Nodes.

Can I use Catchlight data outside LeadCenter?

Yes. Catchlight values are also available in Zapier trigger outputs.

What if a contact does not have Catchlight data yet?

Contacts without Catchlight enrichment data may not match Catchlight-based filters unless you use a condition such as does not exist.
