Set Up and Send Event Invitations

Event Invitations in LeadCenter help you engage your audience and boost attendance with up to three customizable email invites per event. Each invitation can be scheduled and sent using your selected email template—all tied to a specific contact segment and sender email set at the event level.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Choose Your Contact Segment

Start by selecting the segment (contact group) you want to target with your event invitations. This segment will apply to all invitations for that event.

2. Set the Sender Email Address

Select the sender email address that will be used for all invitations within the event.

3. Configure Up to Three Invitations

You can enable up to three separate email invitations—labeled First, Second, and Third. These invites are flexible and don’t have to follow a strict sequence.

For each invitation you enable:

  • Enable the Invite: Toggle it on to activate and begin setup.
  • Choose an Email Template: Select a marketing-ready template.
    Make sure your template includes:
    • (unsubscribe_link)
    • (postal_address)
    These are required for compliance and proper formatting.
  • Schedule Send Date and Time:
    • Choose a date and time at least 1 hour in the future.
    • Select the correct time zone.

Important Notes

  • Each invitation will generate an email marketing campaign that is view-only.
  • Invitations scheduled in the past or within 1 hour from now cannot be edited.
  • Each invitation can only be sent once per event—no resends or edits after sending.
