Exporting Tasks to CSV

You can export tasks from LeadCenter as a CSV file for reporting, analysis, or sharing outside the platform. The export reflects the tasks currently shown based on your active filters.


How to Export Tasks

  1. Go to Tasks.
  2. Apply any filters you want.
  3. Click ActionsDownload CSV.
  4. A confirmation message appears letting you know the export is being processed.
  5. You will receive an email with the download link when the export is ready.

Task exports are processed in the background rather than downloaded immediately in the browser.

LeadCenter generates the CSV file using the tasks currently included in your filtered view.


What the Export Includes

The CSV export includes task data from the current task view. Depending on your tasks and filters, exported columns may include:

  • Task title
  • Status
  • Priority
  • Owner
  • Creator
  • Due date
  • Due time
  • Category
  • Task list
  • Linked contact
  • Created at
  • Updated at

The exact columns may vary depending on your account setup and task data.


How Filters Affect the Export

The export uses the same task set currently shown in the Tasks page. This means if you apply filters before exporting, only those matching tasks are included in the CSV.

For example, you can export:

  • Only tasks owned by a specific user
  • Only overdue tasks
  • Only tasks in a certain category
  • Only tasks from a specific task list
  • Only recurring tasks

Tip: Use filters before exporting so your CSV contains only the tasks you actually need.

Exporting tasks is useful when you need to:

  • Review task workload outside LeadCenter
  • Share task lists with someone who does not need direct system access
  • Prepare spreadsheets or reports
  • Audit overdue or completed work

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I receive the CSV by email instead of an immediate download?

Task exports are processed in the background so you can keep working while the file is prepared. Once the export is ready, LeadCenter sends an email with the download link.

Does the export include completed and cancelled tasks?

The export reflects your current filters. If your filters are set to show only open tasks, only open tasks are included. Set your filters to include everything if you want completed and cancelled tasks in the export.

How long is the download link valid?

The download link is temporary, so it is best to download the file soon after receiving the email.
