LeadCenter can notify users about important task activity so nothing gets missed. Notifications help task owners and assignees stay on top of new tasks, upcoming due times, overdue work, and mentions inside task notes.
Task notifications are sent to help users keep track of work that needs attention. Depending on the type of notification and the user’s settings, notifications may appear:
Notifications are tied to task ownership, assignment, due dates, and mentions.
LeadCenter supports four task notification types. Users can turn each one on or off in their notification preferences.
| Notification | What It Does | Channels |
|---|---|---|
| Daily tasks | A morning digest of tasks that are due. | Email, Push notification |
| Task reminder | A reminder sent 15 minutes before a task’s due time. | Email, Push notification |
| Task created | Notifies you when a task is created and assigned to you. | Email, Push notification |
| Task updated | Notifies you when a task you own is updated. |
If a task has both a due date and a due time, LeadCenter sends a reminder 15 minutes before the task is due.
If a task has only a due date and no due time, it can still appear in the daily digest, but the 15-minute reminder applies only when a due time is set.
Task-related push notifications can appear inside LeadCenter for supported notification types. Push notifications are available for:
