Upload and Manage Event Documents

The Documents tab on an event lets you upload files directly to the event record. This is useful for keeping venue contracts, speaker agreements, run sheets, presentation files, and other event materials in one place for your team.


Where to Find Event Documents

  1. Go to Events.
  2. Open an existing event.
  3. Click the Documents tab in the left menu.

Note: The Documents tab appears only when editing an existing event. It does not appear while creating a new event.


Upload a Document

  1. Open the event and click the Documents tab.
  2. Click Upload document.
  3. Select a file from your computer.
  4. The file uploads automatically.

There is no separate save step for uploaded documents.

Supported File Types

  • PDF.pdf
  • Word.doc, .docx
  • Excel.xls, .xlsx
  • PowerPoint.ppt, .pptx
  • CSV.csv
  • Text.txt

File Size Limit

Each file must be 20 MB or smaller.


Download a Document

To download a document:

  1. Open the event’s Documents tab.
  2. Find the document in the list.
  3. Click the download icon on that row.

The file opens or downloads from secure storage. For security, download links expire after 5 minutes.


Delete a Document

  1. Open the event’s Documents tab.
  2. Click the trash icon on the document row.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Warning: Deleting a document is permanent and cannot be undone.


Who Can Access Event Documents?

Event documents are internal only. They are visible to team members who have access to the event in LeadCenter.

Event attendees and contacts cannot see uploaded event documents.

Best Practices

  • Upload important event files as soon as they are available so your team can find them easily.
  • Use clear file names before uploading, especially for contracts, agendas, and presentation files.
  • Delete outdated versions when they are no longer needed so the document list stays clean.
  • Keep attendee-facing files separate from internal event documents, since this tab is for internal team use only.
