Financial Seminar Services (FSS) Integration Sending Updates for Past Events

Status: Mitigated – We have deployed a workaround that blocks email notifications and contact updates triggered by past events coming from the Financial Seminar Services (FSS) integration. New contact creation, updates, and event-related email notifications will no longer occur for historical FSS event data. We will continue monitoring the integration closely.

Status: In Progress – We began implementing a workaround to suppress updates and notifications triggered by historical FSS event data, since the incorrect data continues to come from the FSS system.

Status: Identified – We determined that FSS was sending updates for past events. These updates unexpectedly triggered new contact creation, contact updates, and automated event-related email notifications inside LeadCenter, which caused confusion for recipients.

Status: Investigating – We observed unusual data coming from the Financial Seminar Services (FSS) integration. New contacts were being created and some existing contacts were updated with placeholder details such as @example.com emails and 555-300-xxxx phone numbers. These updates also triggered event email notifications to LeadCenter users and contacts/prospects/clients.

We will update this page if further action is required or if FSS resumes sending unexpected historical data.
