Microsoft Email Delivery Issues Affecting Shared Email Transactional & Marketing Emails

Status: Mitigated – A fix has been deployed to restore delivery of transactional emails sent from shared email configurations to Microsoft email providers (Outlook, Hotmail, Live, MSN).

Transactional emails include:

  • Direct contact communication
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Event confirmations and reminders
  • Workflow-generated emails
We will continue monitoring delivery closely to ensure stability. Marketing-related emails (such as email campaigns) are still being reviewed separately.

Status: In Progress – We are actively working on a fix to restore delivery of transactional emails (direct contact communication, appointment confirmations & reminders, event confirmations & reminders and workflows) sent from shared email configurations to Microsoft email providers. This work is focused on ensuring Microsoft mail servers accept and deliver these messages reliably. Marketing and non-transactional emails will be addressed after transactional delivery is stabilized.

Status: Investigating – We are actively investigating an issue where emails sent from LeadCenter using shared emails are not being delivered to Microsoft-hosted email providers, including Outlook, Hotmail, Live, and MSN.

Status: Identified – We identified an email delivery issue impacting Microsoft email providers. Emails sent from LeadCenter via shared inbox configurations may not reach recipients. This affects emails generated by appointments, workflows, and email campaigns.

What’s not affected

  • Personal Outlook inbox connections.
  • Emails sent to non-Microsoft providers (e.g., Gmail).
  • SMS and calls.
