Daily Digest Email

The Daily Digest email gives each user a weekday morning summary of the items they need to review in LeadCenter. It can include appointments, events, due tasks, and important contact dates for that day.

Each digest is personalized for the recipient and uses that user's time zone, assignments, and notification settings.


What the Daily Digest Includes

The Daily Digest can include four sections:

  • Appointments: LeadCenter appointments scheduled for today where the recipient is the calendar owner.
  • Events: Scheduled events that overlap with today.
  • Tasks: Tasks due today where the recipient is the owner, an additional assignee, or part of an assigned team.
  • Special Dates: Assigned contacts with a birthday, marital anniversary, or client-since anniversary matching today's date.

If there are no appointments, events, tasks, or special dates for the day, LeadCenter does not send an empty Daily Digest email.


When the Daily Digest Is Sent

The Daily Digest is sent on weekday mornings at approximately 6:00 AM in the recipient's local time zone.

  • The digest is not sent on weekends.
  • The email is sent only when there is at least one item to show.
  • The subject line uses the date of the digest, such as Daily digest for July 11th.

A user must have a time zone set on their user profile to receive the Daily Digest.


Who Receives the Daily Digest

A user receives the Daily Digest when all of the following are true:

  • The user is subscribed to Daily digest in Personal Notifications.
  • The user account is active, verified, and not blocked.
  • The user has a time zone set on their profile.
  • The organization can receive LeadCenter emails.
  • The user has at least one digest item for that day.

The Daily Digest is sent to the email address on the recipient's LeadCenter user account.


How to Subscribe or Unsubscribe

  1. Go to your Personal Notifications settings.
  2. Find the Reporting section.
  3. Enable Daily digest to receive the email.
  4. Disable Daily digest to stop receiving the email.

You can also use the unsubscribe link in the footer of a Daily Digest email to manage your notification preference.


How Each Section Works

Appointments

The Appointments section includes today's LeadCenter appointments where the recipient is the calendar owner.

  • Each appointment shows the appointment subject and start time.
  • Appointment times use the recipient's time zone.
  • Meeting details may include a Zoom link, custom meeting details, phone-call details, or an in-office label.
  • Appointments synced from Google, Microsoft, or Redtail calendars are not included.

Events

The Events section includes scheduled events that overlap with today's date.

  • Virtual events include a link to open the virtual event.
  • In-person events may include venue details and a map link.
  • Event start times display in the event's time zone.

Tasks

The Tasks section includes tasks due today that are assigned to the recipient.

A task may appear when the recipient is:

  • The task owner
  • An additional assignee
  • A member of a team assigned to the task

Completed and cancelled tasks are not included.

Private tasks and tasks in private task lists are shown to the task owner. They are not shown to other users who do not have access to the private task or task list.

Special Dates

The Special Dates section includes assigned contacts with a date matching today.

Special dates can include:

  • Birthday
  • Marital anniversary, when the contact's marital status is Married
  • Client-since anniversary

A contact may appear when the recipient is assigned as the contact's owner, scheduler, writing advisor, servicing advisor, or through an assigned writing-advisor or servicing-advisor team.

Contacts are not included if they are spam, archived, merged, deceased, terminated, or in a pipeline stage marked as Lost.


Why an Item May Be Missing

Missing Item What to Check
Daily Digest email Confirm that Daily digest is enabled in Personal Notifications, the user has a time zone set, the user account is active and verified, and there is at least one item to show for the day.
Appointment Confirm the appointment is on the recipient's LeadCenter calendar for today. Appointments synced from Google, Microsoft, or Redtail calendars are not included.
Task Confirm the task is due today and assigned to the recipient as the owner, an additional assignee, or through an assigned team. Completed and cancelled tasks are not included.
Special-date contact Confirm the contact is assigned to the recipient and has a matching birthday, marital anniversary, or client-since date. Contacts marked as spam, archived, merged, deceased, terminated, or Lost are not included.
Weekend digest The Daily Digest is sent on weekdays only.
