What Is Supported with a Data Migration to LeadCenter?

LeadCenter supports migrating the following data types to ensure a seamless transition. Each file should include record IDs and related contact IDs to properly link data during import:

  • Contacts
  • Notes
  • Tasks
  • Events (e.g., seminars, workshops, webinars etc.)
  • Manually Tracked Financial Account Details

Unsupported Data Types

The following data types are not supported during migration:

  • Recurring Activities: Due to differing rules between CRMs, recurring settings cannot be migrated. However, the history of these activities can be imported. Depending on the source CRM, we may be able to provide a report of repeating items for manual recreation.
  • Files/Documents: Any files attached (PDFs, Word Docs, etc.) to contacts/activities will not be brought over in the transition. However, our team can discuss options that can help you move your files.
  • Workflows: Workflow templates cannot be migrated. Steps within workflows can be imported as tasks to preserve historical data, but these will not function as linked workflows. New templates must be recreated in LeadCenter.
  • Templates: Templates for workflows, reports, notes, tasks, or emails must be recreated in LeadCenter.
  • Emails: Emails are not directly imported due to formatting issues. Emails included in the source CRM's note activity can be imported as notes but may include special characters.

Important Notes

  1. Duplicate Records: LeadCenter's Data Migration team does not scrub data for duplicates. Ensure your data is clean before migration.
  2. File Formats: Backup files should be compressed into ZIP format for a smoother upload process. This prevents timeouts during transfer.

LeadCenter supports the following file formats:

  • CSV or Excel files
  • SQL
  • BAK (SQL database backup)
  • MS Access (MDB)
