How Do I Import My Contacts From Outlook to LeadCenter?
To migrate your contacts from Microsoft Outlook to LeadCenter, follow these simple steps. The process involves exporting contacts from Outlook into a CSV file, then importing the file into LeadCenter.
Step 1: Export Your Contacts from Outlook
Open Microsoft Outlook.
Go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export.
Select Export to a file and click Next.
Choose Comma Separated Values (CSV) and click Next.
Select the Contacts folder you want to export and click Next.
Choose a location to save the file and click Finish.
Step 2: Prepare the Exported CSV File for Import
Before importing, ensure the CSV file is formatted correctly for LeadCenter:
Verify the column headers match the required contact fields in LeadCenter.
Ensure phone numbers follow the international format: Country Code + Phone Number (e.g., 12819762234).
Check date fields (e.g., Client Since, Created At) use the MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM format.
If custom fields exist in your contacts, match them to LeadCenter’s custom fields using the naming format: <custom field group title>.<custom field name>.
Follow the import wizard to map your CSV columns to LeadCenter fields.
Review the mapping, confirm the fields, and start the import.
Once complete, LeadCenter will notify you that the import is successful.
