You can connect LeadCenter to thousands of other applications using Zapier.
In addition to syncing contacts, you can now automate workflows based on
seminars (events) and attendee activity.
This allows you to trigger automations when seminars are created or updated,
and when attendees register, update their status, or attend.
What You Can Automate
Seminar Created — Trigger workflows when a new seminar is created in LeadCenter.
Seminar Updated — Trigger workflows when seminar details are modified.
Attendee Registered / Updated — Trigger automations when someone registers,
confirms, attends, or changes status.
Create or Update Attendees — Send registration data from external platforms into LeadCenter.
Keep Attendee Status in Sync — Maintain accurate statuses such as Registered,
Confirmed, Attended, or No Show.
Common Workflow Examples
Add new seminar attendees to an email marketing platform.
Send attendee data to an external CRM or reporting tool.
Notify your team in Slack or Microsoft Teams when a VIP registers.
Create follow-up tasks when an attendee reaches a specific status (e.g., Attended).
Update marketing lists based on event engagement.
Recommended Setup (Best Practice)
When building attendee-based automations, we recommend using the following pattern
to prevent duplicate contacts:
Find Contact
If found → Update Contact
If not found → Create Contact
This ensures that seminar attendees are linked to existing records when possible,
keeping your database clean and structured.
Available Zapier Triggers and Actions
When selecting LeadCenter inside Zapier, you will see the following capabilities:
Create Contact
Update Contact
Find Contact
Seminar Created
Seminar Updated
Attendee Registered / Updated
How to Get Started
Log in to Zapier and click Create Zap.
Select LeadCenter as the trigger or action app.
Connect your LeadCenter account when prompted.
Choose your workflow, such as:
Seminar Created
Seminar Updated
Attendee Registered / Updated
Create Contact / Update Contact
Map the fields between LeadCenter and your destination app.
Test the Zap to confirm the data flows correctly.
Turn the Zap on.
Field Mapping Tips
Match Contacts by Email — Use email as the primary identifier
when linking attendees to contacts.
Map Status Carefully — Ensure attendee status values
(Registered, Confirmed, Attended, No Show) match expected formats in your destination system.
Verify Required Fields — Some apps require specific fields
such as first name, last name, or email.
Test With Real Event Data — Run a test using a real seminar or attendee
before activating the Zap.
Optional: Salesforce Integration
If your firm uses Salesforce, you can optionally sync seminars and attendees
to Salesforce Campaigns and Campaign Members using Zapier.
Salesforce is optional. This integration works with or without Salesforce.
Troubleshooting
Duplicate Contacts Being Created
Confirm you are using a Find Contact step before creating a new one.
Verify the email field is mapped correctly.
Check for inconsistent formatting (extra spaces or alternate email formats).
Seminar Trigger Not Firing
Confirm the Zap is turned on.
Check Zapier task history for errors.
Verify the seminar was created or updated after the Zap was activated.
Attendee Status Not Updating
Confirm the correct attendee trigger is selected.
Verify the status field is mapped properly.
Test again using a recent attendee record.
