How to Link a Client to Their Power of Attorney (POA)

To associate a POA (Power of Attorney) with a client contact, follow these steps:

Steps:

  1. Open the Contact Details Page:
    Navigate to the Contacts Dashboard and select the client’s contact record.
  2. Go to the "Know Your Client" Tab:
    In the Overview section, scroll down to the tabbed navigation area.
    Click on the “Know Your Client” tab.
  3. Add a Professional Contact:
    Scroll to the “Professional Contacts” card.
    Click “Add.”
  4. Select the POA Role:
    From the profession dropdown, select “Power of Attorney.”
  5. Link the POA Contact:
    Search for the contact you wish to assign as the POA.
    Click “Save.”

Once saved, the POA will be linked and visible under the client’s Professional Contacts section.
