Personal vs Shared Notifications

Personal Notifications

Overview: These are user-specific alerts that each team member can customize according to their role and preferences.

Key Features

  • Granular Control: Users can opt in or out of notifications related to Contacts, Tasks, Appointments, and Reporting.
  • Customization: Each user manages their own preferences, ensuring they receive only relevant alerts.
  • Categories Include:
    • Contact Updates: New contact entries, call transcriptions, CRM syncs, incoming texts, event registrations, financial questionnaire completions, RMD alerts, document uploads, form submissions.
    • Reporting: Daily, weekly, or monthly summaries of new leads.
    • Tasks: Daily task summaries, reminders, updates on new or modified tasks.
    • Appointments: Client review alerts and 20‑minute reminders before scheduled appointments.

Accessing Settings:

  1. Click your name in the top‑right corner of LeadCenter.
  2. Select Notification Preferences from the dropdown.
  3. Use the checkboxes to enable or disable specific alerts.
  4. Click Save to update your settings.

Note: Personal notification settings supersede legacy shared settings but can coexist for broader communication needs.

Shared Notifications

Overview: These are account‑wide alerts intended for distribution to shared or external email addresses, such as team inboxes or partners not directly using LeadCenter.

Key Features

  • System Notifications: Immutable alerts for events like lead/task ownership changes, appointment bookings, updates, cancellations, and 20‑minute reminders.
  • Account Notifications: Configurable alerts for:
    • Lead creation
    • Daily/weekly/monthly updates of leads and contacts
    • Call transcription completions
    • Incoming text messages
    • Event form submissions or attendee status changes
    • Financial questionnaire submissions

Configuration: Managed by administrators via the Shared Email Notification Settings page. You can add/remove email addresses to receive specific alerts. Ideal for ensuring critical updates reach relevant parties, even outside the immediate user base.

Choosing Between Personal and Shared Notifications

  • Use Personal Notifications for individualized alert management, enabling team members to tailor notifications to their specific responsibilities and avoid unnecessary information.
  • Use Shared Notifications to disseminate essential updates to broader groups or external stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication across the organization.

By leveraging both notification types, LeadCenter.AI facilitates a balanced approach to information dissemination, enhancing operational efficiency and team responsiveness.
