Why appointment confirmation email is not being sent from my email?

When I send a confirmation email for my own calendar, it sends from info@@mycompany.com. However, if I were to set an appt for another person, it will send from their email (ex: personname@companyname.com). Is there a reason for this? If so, is there a setting I can adjust that will default the confirmation emails being sent from my email?

The reason your confirmation emails were sent from info@wfsta.com instead of your own email address is because the confirmation email and invitation settings were not correctly configured in your calendar.

I've now resolved this issue for you. For your future reference, here's how you can adjust these settings:

  1. Navigate to your calendar settings -> Confirmation Email page.
  2. Choose the "Calendar Invite" option.
  3. Select your desired confirmation email template.
  4. Click "Save" to apply your changes.

Additionally, you may need to repeat these steps for any public calendar links you have set up under:

  • Calendar Settings > Public Calendars
