Use Contact Peek to View Recent Activity

Contact Peek lets you quickly review recent activity and key contact details without opening the full contact record. When you hover the eye icon on supported list pages, a small peek panel appears with quick access to recent activity such as calls, emails, appointments, notes, and other helpful shortcuts.

Where Contact Peek Appears

Contact Peek is available in several areas of LeadCenter where you review contact lists and activity.

  • Contacts page
  • Sales Pipeline page
  • Families list
  • Event Attendees lists
  • The peek row above the contact name on the contact detail page

How to Open Contact Peek

  1. Go to a page where Contact Peek is available.
  2. Find the contact you want to review.
  3. Hover the eye icon.
  4. In the peek panel, move your pointer over the available icons to preview recent activity.

Note: Contact Peek is designed for quick review. If you need full details, open the contact record.

What Contact Peek Helps You Review

Contact Peek gives you a fast summary of recent contact activity so you can decide whether you need to open the full record. Depending on the page and the contact’s history, the peek panel may help you review items such as:

  • Recent calls
  • Recent emails
  • Recent appointments
  • Notes or other recent activity
  • Family or household context, where applicable

The exact items shown can vary based on what activity exists for that contact.

Recent Calls in Contact Peek

The green phone icon inside Contact Peek shows the contact’s most recent calls. LeadCenter displays the 5 newest calls, sorted by call time with the newest first.

These recent calls can come from any connected supported provider, including:

  • LeadCenter
  • RingCentral
  • GoTo Connect
  • Dialpad

The phone icon appears whenever the contact has at least one call from any supported provider.

What You Will See in the Calls Popover

  • The call direction, such as inbound or outbound
  • The provider label, shown as via [Provider]
  • The call time
  • The call duration, when available
  • The user name, when applicable
  • The call status, such as completed or no-answer

This makes it easier to see at a glance which provider handled each recent call.

Why Only 5 Calls Are Shown

Contact Peek is meant to give you a fast summary, so it shows only the 5 most recent calls. Older calls are not shown in the popover.

To review the full call history for a contact, open the contact record and go to the Calls tab.

Important Notes

  • Contact Peek is a quick-view tool and does not replace the full contact record.
  • Call statuses from different providers are shown using a simpler shared set of statuses in LeadCenter.
  • You only see calls and activity your account is allowed to view.
  • If your account does not use external phone integrations, Contact Peek continues showing LeadCenter activity as usual.
  • No setup is required for supported call providers to appear in Contact Peek once those integrations are connected and matched to the contact.
