The contact details page is where all information about a contact lives, including identity, household details, activity, accounts, and communications. This article explains what each section is used for and how to move through the page efficiently.
The masthead appears at the top of the contact record and shows the most important contact details and quick actions.
This section includes stage, source, medium, owner, category, client status, closed date, client since date, and the In Pipeline? setting.
This section includes date of birth, gender, marital status, occupation, employer, and other personal details.
This section shows the head of household, spouse, children, and other family relationships. You can click the household name to open the household view.
This section stores all emails, phone numbers, and addresses for the contact. Each item can be marked as Primary or Preferred.

This section stores additional fields your team has created for contact records.

This section shows tags used for flexible grouping and a summary of marketing preferences and opt-out settings.
Most fields on the contact details page support inline editing. Click the value, make the change, and click the save icon.
For emails, phone numbers, and addresses, use the row action menu to add, edit, delete, or mark an item as Primary or Preferred.
When a contact is not in the Sales Pipeline, some pipeline-related fields are hidden because they apply only to pipeline contacts. Turn In Pipeline? to Yes to show them.
You can change the owner in the Important Information section on the Overview tab, or in bulk from the Contacts page or Sales Pipeline.
LeadCenter found a match between this contact's Primary email or Primary phone and another contact. Open the Duplicates tab to review the match and merge if needed.
