We’ve added two new ways to control email sync privacy in LeadCenter — giving both individual users and admins more flexibility.
Each user can now choose to keep their synced emails private. When enabled, only that user will be able to view their own emails in LeadCenter. Other users will not have visibility into these communications.
This applies to all email communications by that user — both emails sent from LeadCenter and emails synced from their external email client (e.g., Office 365, Gmail). Once privacy is enabled, those emails will only be visible to the user who owns them.
Note: User-level email privacy does not apply to shared email accounts. Emails sent from shared accounts will remain visible to all users with access to those accounts.
To enable this option:
Admins and account owners can now disable email sync for specific contacts. When disabled, no emails sent or received with that contact will be synced into LeadCenter. This prevents communications with that contact from appearing in their Contact Details (Emails tab) or in the Communications Log.
This option is enabled by default. To disable:
Important: This setting applies account-wide. Once disabled, email communications for that contact will not sync for any user in LeadCenter.
