We’ve updated the shortcode format used in Email and Text Templates for better consistency and reliability.
All shortcodes now use double brackets — for example, [[first_name]] instead of (first_name).
To standardize formatting across templates, all shortcodes in Email and Text Templates have been updated to the new [[...]] style. Your existing templates were automatically converted — no action needed for current content.
When creating or editing new templates, simply follow the new format. You can access all available shortcodes from the Shortcodes side view by clicking the new icon button in the template editor.
(first_name)[[first_name]]We’ve also refined the template editor by replacing the text-based “Shortcodes” link with a new icon button for a cleaner, modern design. Click the icon to open the side view and insert your desired shortcode.

Note: All existing templates have already been updated to the new [[...]] format automatically. Please use this format for any new Email or Text Templates moving forward.
