Set Appointment Reminders by Category

You can now configure appointment reminders individually for each appointment category, giving you more control and flexibility over how and when contacts receive reminders.

This feature was one of the most requested enhancements based on your feedback — designed to help you tailor reminder timing and messaging to different types of appointments instead of relying on a single global setting.

How It Works

Previously, reminders were configured globally for all appointment types. Now, you can customize them for each appointment category using the new dropdown at the top of the reminders screen.

  1. Go to your Calendar Settings.
  2. From the left-hand menu, click Appointment Reminders.
  3. Use the dropdown at the top of the screen to select an appointment category.
  4. Enable and configure email or text reminders for that specific category.
  5. Repeat the process for other categories as needed.

New Reminder Options

We’ve also added two new reminder timing options based on your feedback:

  • 21 days before appointment — ideal for long-term scheduling.
  • 2 days before appointment — for an additional reminder closer to the meeting date.

Why It Matters

  • Send reminders that match the timing and urgency of each appointment type.
  • Improve attendance rates with more personalized communication.
  • Save time by configuring reminders once per category instead of managing them manually.
