Redtail Contact and Task Updates Can Now Sync to LeadCenter
03/06/2026
Keep LeadCenter more up to date when your team works in Redtail. You can now choose to pull contact updates and task updates from Redtail into LeadCenter.
What’s New
Pull contact updates from Redtail — Changes made to linked contacts in Redtail can now sync back to LeadCenter.
Pull task updates from Redtail — Task updates, completions, and cancellations in Redtail can now sync into LeadCenter.
How It Works
In your Redtail integration settings, you can now enable one or both update sync options. Once enabled, LeadCenter will apply updates received from Redtail to existing linked records.
Enable Pull contact updates from Redtail to LeadCenter if you want contact changes from Redtail to sync back.
Enable Pull task updates from Redtail to LeadCenter if you want task changes from Redtail to sync back.
Click Save.
Enable contact updates and task updates from Redtail in the Redtail configuration page.

Important Notes
This is different from pulling new contacts: New contacts created in Redtail are still controlled by the separate Pull new contacts created in Redtail to LeadCenter setting.
Linked contacts only: Contact updates from Redtail apply only to contacts that are already linked to a LeadCenter record.
Head of Household only: Only the main Head of Household (HOH) individual contact is synced in this update. Family members are not included.
Source and Category matching: Source and Category are updated only if LeadCenter can match the Redtail value to an existing Source or Category by name. If no match is found, the current LeadCenter value will stay unchanged.
Deleted tasks are not removed: If a task is deleted in Redtail, it will be marked as Cancelled in LeadCenter.
Calendar visibility remains: Redtail tasks still appear in the Calendar view. Enabling task updates also keeps them updated in the Tasks module.
Tasks from both sides can stay updated: Tasks created in Redtail can sync into LeadCenter, and tasks created in LeadCenter and pushed to Redtail can also receive updates back from Redtail.
No sync loops: Updates received from Redtail will not trigger another update back to Redtail.
Automations may still run: Because these updates change records in LeadCenter, other automations such as workflows or Zapier may still be triggered.
Why It Matters
Less manual updating — Keep LeadCenter aligned when contact or task changes happen in Redtail.
Better task visibility — See updated task status, completion, and cancellation details in LeadCenter.
More accurate records — Keep linked contact details current across both systems.
