Many advisors keep client files in Box. Now you can link a client's Box folder or file to their contact record and open it from the Documents tab, without switching apps or hunting for the right folder.
Open a client's Box files right from their Documents tab.
What's New
Box files on the contact record — Link a Box folder or file to a contact, and it shows at the top of their Documents tab.
Set up in seconds — Paste the Box shared link or embed code. LeadCenter does the rest.
Your files stay in Box — Removing the link only takes the Box view off the contact. Nothing in Box is deleted.
How It Works
Open a contact from Contacts and go to the Documents tab.
Click Link Box.com.
Paste the Box shared link or embed code, then click Save Box.com URL.
Please note: Box's own sharing settings still decide who can open the files. If the folder is shared only with your company or invited people, Box asks users to sign in first.
Why It Matters
Less switching between apps — Your client's files are right next to their notes, meetings, and tasks.
Keep Box as your file home — No need to move or copy files into LeadCenter.
Keep your Box access controls — Box's sharing settings still apply, including any Box sign-in your folder requires.
