Event reminders no longer go to the same attendees at every timing. You now choose which attendee statuses get each reminder, so people who already confirmed don't keep getting "please confirm" messages, and everyone else still hears from you.
Confirmed attendees skip the 24-hour reminder but still get the 32-hour one.
What's New
Pick recipients for each timing — Every reminder timing, from 1 week before to 15 minutes before, has its own list of attendee statuses. For example, skip Confirmed attendees in the 24-hour reminder while still reminding Registered ones.
Set it once for every event — Your choices apply to all events on your account, for both the email and the text reminder at that timing.
Nothing changes until you do — Your current settings stay in place, so reminders keep going to the same attendees until you edit them.
Click Actions → Event settings, then scroll to Reminder settings.
Under each timing, check the attendee statuses that should get that reminder.
Click Save.
Please note: These choices apply to every event on your account. Each event's Reminders tab still controls which timings are turned on and which templates they use.
Why It Matters
More relevant reminders — Send each message only to the attendees who need it at that point.
Fewer unnecessary messages — Stop reminding people who already took the step you wanted.
Less setup — Decide once for all events, and keep each event's schedule and templates as they are.
