Some instructions are easier to show than to explain. Now you can paste a screenshot right into a task's Notes, and it stays next to your written instructions whenever someone opens the task.
The screenshot sits right under your instructions when anyone opens the task.
What's New
Keep the picture with the task — Paste screenshots of a distribution, a contribution, account activity, or anything else that explains the work.
Reusable visual instructions — Add screenshots to a task template, and every task created from it keeps them.
Works in workflows too — Screenshots in a workflow's Create task step carry over to every task the workflow creates.
Pictures and text together — Add more than one image, type instructions, and @mention teammates in the same note. Wide screenshots shrink to fit.
Comments too — Paste a screenshot into a task comment to share a confirmation or follow-up with your team.
How It Works
Copy a screenshot.
In Tasks, click Add task or open an existing task.
Click inside Notes and paste, or use the image button on the Notes toolbar. Then click Save. When you open the task, your notes and screenshots appear under Description.
Please note: A picture pasted into Notes stays inside the task's notes. Files you upload under Attachments are still saved as separate documents.
Why It Matters
Give your team the full picture — Important details show up right where the work is described.
Less back-and-forth — No need to open a separate file to understand the request.
Consistent recurring work — Templates and workflows give the same visual guidance every time.
