When Zapier or a partner sends a contact into LeadCenter, the audit log now shows the partner's name on a badge. You can tell at a glance whether a contact came from Zapier, a lead partner, or someone on your team.
What's New
Clear source: Partner changes read created via or updated via, followed by a blue badge such as Zapier, Financial Seminar, Leading Response, Silloet, Schenck, LeadJig, SmartAsset, or Intulse.
No more owner mix-ups: The entry no longer names the account owner for changes the owner didn't make.
Older entries too: Entries recorded before this update show the badge as well. You don't need to recreate those contacts.
How It Works
Open a contact and go to Audit log, or open Settings → Security Management → Audit log.
Look for created via or updated via and the partner badge.
Please note: Changes you make in LeadCenter or the mobile app still name the person who made them. Steep, Redtail, and other syncs keep their own badge, and the contact's assigned owner doesn't change.
Why It Matters
When a new contact appears, you know right away where it came from, so you can follow up with the right context. For details, see Contact Audit Log.
