Introducing Privacy Controls for Tasks, Notes, Calls, Emails, and Text Messages

LeadCenter now offers enhanced privacy settings, allowing you to keep certain activities confidential. You can now mark tasks, task lists, notes, calls, emails, and text messages as private, ensuring only you can see them.

What’s New?

  • Task, Task List & Note Privacy: Set individual tasks, notes or entire task lists as private, restricting their visibility to only you.
  • Call, SMS & Email Privacy: Change the visibility of your calls, text messages, and emails after they are created.

Task, Task List & Note Privacy

  • Tasks & Task lists can be set as private (indicated by a lock icon ) or public.
  • When creating a new task, note or task list you can choose Visible only to me instead of Visible to everyone.
  • Setting a task list to private automatically makes all tasks within it private.
  • Tasks in public task lists can still be made private individually.
  • When a private task list is set to Visible to everyone, all tasks within it become visible to other users.

Call, SMS & Email Privacy

  • Privacy settings can be modified after a call, SMS, or email is created.
  • Only the user who made, sent the call, SMS, or email can change its privacy settings.
  • Calls that were received cannot be marked private.
  • A visibility toggle (eye icon) allows users to mark calls, SMS, and emails as private (red ) or visible (green ).

Important Notes

  • Private tasks, task lists, notes, calls, emails, and text messages are only visible to the creator.
  • Changing a task list's privacy setting affects all tasks within it.
  • Only the task, task list & note owner can change the privacy settings.
  • Tasks, task lists & notes can be marked as private while being created or edited later.
  • By default, tasks, task lists and notes are set to Visible to everyone.
