Important Update: New Business Verification Required for SMS & Voice Services

For LeadCenter’s voice and messaging service, we use Twilio on the backend. Due to recent growth—thousands of phone lines and hundreds of advisors—we were required to move each client to a dedicated sub-account in Twilio. As a result, we must resubmit the A2P compliance registration and verification under the new sub-account for each LeadCenter account.

What is A2P? A2P stands for Application-to-Person messaging, which means text messages or calls sent from software or automated systems to customers’ phones — for example, appointment reminders, alerts, or marketing messages.

TL;DR: U.S. carriers now require every business sending SMS, MMS, or voice calls via application-based (“A2P”) to register their brand and messaging campaigns. LeadCenter will register your brand on your behalf once you provide the required business details below.


1. Why Registration is Mandatory

U.S. mobile carriers have enforced A2P registration to reduce spam and improve traceability. Completing this one-time registration provides several benefits:

  • Lower message filtering and higher throughput: Registered senders enjoy better deliverability and higher message sending limits.
  • Avoid unregistered traffic penalties: Carriers charge additional fees for messages sent from unregistered numbers.
  • One-time brand verification: Once approved, your company’s messages remain in verified status, allowing faster campaign launches in the future.

2. Information We Must Collect

Please email the following details to support@leadcenter.ai. Accurate, official information helps ensure smooth registration with the carriers.

3. Fees

Fee Amount Frequency
Brand & Campaign Registration $100 One-time

For higher volumes, please contact support@leadcenter.ai to arrange a high-volume campaign registration, which requires additional vetting and carries higher fees.

These fees are in addition to your existing LeadCenter subscriptions.


4. What Happens Next

  1. You send the requested business information to support@leadcenter.ai.
  2. LeadCenter submits your Brand and Campaign registration to carriers.
  3. Approval usually completes within a few hours, but may take up to 5 business days.
  4. Your existing phone numbers will be assigned to the approved campaign without service interruption.
