New: Dialpad Integration for Calls, Recordings, and Transcriptions

You can now connect Dialpad to LeadCenter to automatically sync phone calls, play recordings, generate transcriptions, and capture new leads from inbound calls. Every conversation is logged and tied to the right contact or lead — without manual work.

What’s New

  • Automatic call-based lead capture — All external Dialpad calls are logged in LeadCenter. Calls from known numbers are matched to existing contacts, and calls from unknown numbers can automatically create new leads.
  • Dialpad call sync — Automatically log inbound and outbound calls with duration, direction, and timestamps.
  • Call recording playback — Listen to and download call recordings directly inside LeadCenter.
  • AI call transcriptions — View searchable call transcripts when transcription is enabled.
  • Click-to-call — Place Dialpad calls directly from contact records.

Capture New Leads from Phone Calls

When Dialpad is connected, LeadCenter can automatically create a new lead when you receive a call from a phone number that does not match an existing contact.

  • The call is logged in LeadCenter immediately
  • A new lead is created using the caller’s phone number
  • Future calls from the same number are linked to the same lead
  • You can follow up using tasks, workflows, appointments, or campaigns

Note: Automatic lead creation from calls can be enabled or disabled from the Dialpad integration settings.

Connect Dialpad to LeadCenter

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Telephony
  2. Click the Dialpad card
  3. Click Connect to start the authorization flow
  4. Authorize LeadCenter in Dialpad
  5. You’ll be redirected back once the connection is complete

Call History, Recordings, and Transcriptions

Once connected, Dialpad calls appear automatically in LeadCenter under Calls. From there, you can:

  • View call details including direction, duration, and timestamps
  • Play and download call recordings
  • Read AI-generated call transcriptions (when enabled)
  • See which contact or lead each call is associated with

Transcriptions can also be used with LeadCenter’s AI features for summaries, task creation, and follow-up emails.

Make Calls from LeadCenter

Click any phone number in LeadCenter and choose Dialpad to place a call. The Dialpad app will open automatically and start the call.

Important Notes

  • Google Meet–style links are not created — Dialpad handles calling through its app
  • Existing call logs remain in LeadCenter even if you disconnect Dialpad
  • Transcriptions require the Call Transcription feature to be enabled
