LeadCenter now helps prevent duplicate contacts when pushing contacts to Wealthbox. Before creating a new Wealthbox contact, LeadCenter checks for an existing match so your team can keep Wealthbox cleaner and avoid unnecessary duplicate records.
When you push a contact to Wealthbox and that contact does not already have a linked Wealthbox contact, LeadCenter first searches Wealthbox for an existing match.
LeadCenter checks for a match by email address first. If no email match is found, it then checks by phone number.
If no match is found, LeadCenter creates a new Wealthbox contact as usual. If exactly one match is found, LeadCenter links to that existing contact and pushes the update there instead. If the result is ambiguous, the push is skipped so your team can avoid duplicate or conflicting links.
If you manually push a contact using a specific Wealthbox Contact ID, LeadCenter uses that ID directly and does not run the duplicate-prevention search.
