LeadCenter now handles event capacity, waitlists, and Financial Seminar Services (FSS) registration updates more accurately. This helps your team keep waitlisted contacts from filling venue capacity and reduces duplicate or confusing attendee emails during FSS registration transfers.
When an event has a capacity set, LeadCenter counts attendees with active seat-holding statuses, such as Registered, Confirmed, and Attended. Waitlisted and cancelled attendees do not count toward the venue limit.
The Registered column on Marketing → Events shows total non-cancelled attendees, including waitlisted attendees. For example, an event with 40 registered attendees and 15 waitlisted attendees on a capacity-50 event will show 55 in the badge, but it will not show ! OVER CAPACITY because only 40 active seat-holding attendees count toward the limit.
For FSS registrations, LeadCenter now handles internal transfer webhooks more cleanly. If FSS sends a cancellation update as part of moving someone between its waitlist and registered event tracks, LeadCenter updates the attendee status but does not send a cancellation email when the update includes Moved to:. If FSS sends the same status the attendee already has, LeadCenter does not send a duplicate status email.
If you still see unexpected emails after a manual approval, contact support with the attendee name and timestamps from external API calls.
