Meetings that sync into LeadCenter from Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar now include two important improvements:
Together, these updates help you maintain a more complete appointment history while giving your team more control over synced calendar meetings.
When a meeting is canceled or deleted in Outlook or Google Calendar, LeadCenter now keeps the record and marks it Canceled. The date, time, subject, and attendee details stay intact.
Canceled meetings are hidden from the calendar by default, so your active schedule stays focused. To review them, go to Appointments, open the calendar, open the status filter, and turn on Canceled.
You can now link any synced Outlook or Google Calendar meeting to a contact in LeadCenter. This is especially useful when a meeting syncs without an automatic match—for example, when the attendee’s email address does not match an existing contact.
Open the synced meeting, use the Contact field to select the right contact, and click Save. Once linked, the meeting appears in that contact’s appointment history. The link remains in place as future calendar updates sync into LeadCenter, even if the meeting is canceled later.
Everything else about a synced meeting continues to be managed in the original calendar. In LeadCenter, synced meetings allow changes only to Contact and Category.
